How to get there?

• You can take the train to Windsor and Eton Central station or Windsor and Eton Riverside station, both of which are about a 5-10 minute walk away.

• You will be required to place any food and drinks into sealed bags before being granted entry to the Castle
• Toilets and baby care facilities are located throughout the Castle.
• It’s preferable to wear comfortable shoes during the tour.
• You can get a re-entry permit to visit nearby cafés and restaurants, but No food or drinks are allowed inside the State Apartments or St George’s Chapel.
• Last admission is 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing time (at 4 PM).
• The castle will be completely closed on 17 June 2024 and 26 December 2024.
• The castle will be partially closed on 16 June 2024.
• Windsor Castle is open from Thursday to Monday, with a few exceptions when the Castle is used for official functions and events.
• The place is fully accessible for Manual wheelchairs are available to use free of charge.
• Upon arrival, you must exchange the mobile voucher for a physical ticket.
• You will need to undergo a security check similar to airport screening, and it cannot be skipped. The longest waiting times are in the morning and to reduce that it is recommended to carry as few bags and items as possible.
• From October to March, you can also visit the private apartments of King George IV, which were used as his personal residence in the 19th century.

• Show your mobile ticket at the entrance.
