Camping is a great way to be surrounded by nature, the sunset view, the lights of the stars, and the full moon at night. There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of sitting in your comfy tent, watching a live barbecue dinner show, and then having the dinner of your choice from three main dishes. And if you want to do something exciting and adventurous, you will have the chance to do sandboarding and soft archery. You will also enjoy watching many live performances, such as tanoura and belly dance shows. Your kids will also be entertained with cartoons that play for them. All food and beverages we are serving are halal as per UAE law for food establishments.
We are not serving pork on our menu.
It is not allowed to bring your own food and beverages to the camps.
You have to know that it’s normal for our staff members to check your ID from time to time to make sure you comply with the rules.
We can provide you with your food leftovers for takeout if you want that, but in this case, our staff members will not be responsible for any failure in storing the food.
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or any other medical conditions while you are booking your ticket.
We have a lot of food options for vegetarians, gluten-free, lactose-free, and more, so please inform us 48 hours before the booked date, and we will try to do our best to provide what you specifically want.
In the case of any extreme allergies or hard medical conditions, we will have the right to request that you not attend the event if we can’t provide suitable food or will ask you to bring your own food.
All of our staff members on site are first aid certified.
Depending on the age of children, they may be required to be seated in booster seats or other child safety-accredited seating, and we will do our best to provide these seats.
This experience is not suitable for pregnant women within their last three months.
Our vehicles are equipped with dashcam technology that records high-definition sound and video. And we can use these cameras' footage for legal, insurance, and training purposes. It may also be used to verify any questions or concerns related to performance.
You have to notify us if you have special needs or disabilities while booking to tell you if we have the availability to make you join us. Depending on the nature of the disability, it may be better to book a private vehicle. We also have the right not to accept guests who have a disability on this experience due to safety concerns.
If you want to ride a camel, it will be your responsibility.
We are not responsible for anything that may happen to you while participating in our desert experiences, such as accidents, delays, injuries, loss, or damage. This includes transfers from the gate to the camp, and we are not responsible for all food and beverages that you have eaten throughout the experience and before it.
There are some rules that you have to know before entering the DDCR, a protected area that preserves the local fauna and flora.
It’s not allowed to damage, interfere with, destroy, cut, injure, or undermine in any way the natural indigenous plant life within the reserve.
It’s forbidden to touch, feed, interfere, disturb, affect, or cause any harm to any animal, restrict its movement through natural areas, or affect its shelter or its places of breeding within the reserve’s wildlife breeding zones because we will consider it a crime.
You can’t bring your pet into the DDCR.
The following livestock are strictly not allowed to enter the DDCR: goats, sheep, cattle, chickens, pigeons, dogs, cats, monkeys, donkeys, or mules.
It is strictly forbidden to throw trash, cigarette buds, food, cans, or any other thing that may cause any danger to the reserve and its habitat.
It is strictly forbidden to climb the trees in the Nara Oasis area.
All people have to respect and be obligated to the local laws, regulations, directives, orders, and standards according to the UAE. It's also forbidden to engage in any exaggerated behaviours in public, such as sexual acts.
It is strictly forbidden to urinate outside the toilets, which are available for use in all our camps.
Some rules for booking private events:
- There were no fireworks or lights directed towards the sky.
- Fresh plants are not allowed at the event, but you can bring them during the event period and return them.
- Building, decorating, and dismantling any event setup must be created on the same day of the event within the DDCR operating hours.
- You have to respect the operating hours of DDCR.
- It is not permitted by DDCR to use some items on the camp that can be taken by the wind, such as confetti, balloons, paper lanterns, and anything like that.
- You have to use a 4×4 Bedford truck that can be hired through Nara Escape to transfer big and heavy installations or equipment to the camp.
- You have to pay an entry fee of AED 20 before entering the conservation area.
- Any equipment, material, products, items, or staff coming from external suppliers or with the client must be listed and submitted to DDCR approval at least 7 days before the event date, and if you don’t do that, Nara Escape can’t guarantee your access to the camp.
- You will have to immediately pay at least AED 200.00 or more in case you damage or lose any equipment, depending on the situation assessed by your event manager.
- You are responsible for your own personal belongings throughout the event.
- All lost things discovered in our camps will be preserved for a period of 12 months. It is your obligation to retrieve any misplaced items. All objects left unclaimed for 12 months will be discarded or donated to charity.
- We are not responsible for any damage, loss, accident, sickness, injury, or death during the event period. You are advised to have comprehensive travel and health insurance. So, by booking the event, you and all your companions affirm that you have all fully understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

No show to your book time slot will be charged.
All activities are subject to weather conditions. If an activity is canceled due to weather an option of refund /reschedule will be given to you.
All activities are done with the client’s permission. Ootlah will not be responsible for an injury or misplaced item on board.
Amendments cannot be made upon confirmation of booking.

The process of getting tickets may take around 10 minutes or more.

In case you can’t attend your booked experience at any of our camps, we will apply our strict cancellation fees.
We are not responsible in case we cancel an event due to causes beyond our control, such as limitations, acts or omissions of government or military authority, or any natural causes.
Our camps need a minimum of 20 guests to operate. If we can’t reach this minimum number of guests, we will have the right not to operate on this day.
If the camp you have booked cannot operate on your booking day, you will have the right to choose between two options:

Change the date of your reservation to ensure your desired camp.
Change the booked venue to a different date.

Less than six guests: you can get a full refund in case you cancel your booked experience 72 hours before the booked date.
Above six guests: you can get a full refund in case you cancel your booked experience 7 days before the booked date.
In the case of no shows, all cancellations occurring after the cutoff time will be considered no shows. You will have to pay 100% of the cancellation fee in this case.
