The Al Madinah Museum includes many exhibitions related to the cultural and historical heritage of the city and includes various archaeological collections, visual galleries, and rare pictures of the old city.

Madinah is home to many distinct sites and landmarks, most of which are mosques and have historical significance. These include the three mentioned mosques, the Al-Fateh Mosque (also known as the Al-Khandaq Mosque), the seven mosques, and the Al-Baqi Cemetery where the graves of many famous Islamic figures are assumed to exist; Directly to the southeast of the Prophet's Mosque, Mount Uhud, the site of the Battle of Uhud, and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an, where the most recent Qur’an is printed.

Similar to the city of Mecca, Madinah offers a multicultural environment, a city where people of different nationalities and cultures live together and interact with each other on a daily basis. Residents were described as welcoming, warm, and helpful. This only helps the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an. Founded in 1985, the world's largest publisher of the Qur'an, it employs around 1,100 people and publishes 361 different publications in many languages. It is reported that more than 400,000 people from all over the world visit the complex every year. Each visitor presented a free copy of the Noble Qur’an at the end of the facility tour.
